I'm back in WoW. At first I was really enjoying it - Panderia is nearly as good as Wrath was in terms of story and overall fun\stuff to do - but the last few weeks really has me excited for XIV. I can't wait until it releases. I'm not going to have any problems saying bye to WoW once ARR comes out. Not one.

I'm playing Xenoblade Chronicles, LOTR The Third Age, and Final Fantasy XII atm. As soon as Dark Souls 2 releases, I will be knee deep, really far down in the pits of hell with my copy. Never to be seen again.

I just reactivated XI. Haven't played that one for about 3 years. Don't know how far I will get; I had a pretty decent char when I left and haven't been able to reactivate it. Don't know if I want to do all those missions again, regardless of how easy they may be now.

Still in XI. Never quit.

Just started applying to HNMs again. Smiley: grin

I started the first Bioshock but seem to only be able to play it during the day with the blinds open.

I also borrowed a copy of FF XIII to experience for myself.

Canceled my WoW subscription while I wait for this. Staying busy with Civ 4, Sim City 4, and outdoor activities now that it has warmed up outside. Playing a lot of soccer actually, in real life, not the pixilated kind.

I've been on a retro kick. Secret of Mana, Lufia II, and Earthbound. Gotta love the classics.

League of Legends and add in a healthy dose of FF nostalgia Just bought FFVII and FFVIII on PSN and been playing VIII a lot. Forgot how addictive Triple Triad was. =p

This for me also. WoW is just a chore now, with the daily grind for reps. I'm lucky if I log in for an hour or 2 at a time, when I used to do 3-4 hours minimum.
I've been waiting for FFXIV since the rumors of it started around '07-08. And while I want SE to take it's time and get it right this time around, I'm getting real antsy.

Ni No Kuni primarily with garbage from gamefly sprinkled in here and there.

I'm also looking forward to Dark Souls 2.

I had to replace my computer recently so I've been devoid of a Windows 8 compatible Emulator to play Secret of Mana on.

So right now, it's Skyrim. Restarting my campaign from scratch with the new computer, all expansions installed with none of the mods. It's interesting.

Just started back up GTA IV. I've been playing that one off and on since launch...I just find it SOOOOO repetitive and boring.

Cab to destination, skipping the drive by pressin x
Click on destination
Skip through cutscenes
If possible take your crew and cab to mission destination (skipping the drive again)
Retrieve item a or kill npc x
Beat car/boat/motorcycle chase as needed
Gather reward
Rinse and repeat.

....over and over and over and over and over.

I too am working on Xenoblade. It's the closest thing to an MMO the Wii has. (Well, other than Dragon Quest X.)

And Pokemon Soul Silver. I'm playing through that again for some reason.

CIV 5 & Ni No Kuni. Does playing ZAM count?

I have an unopened copy of Ni No Kuni sitting on my desk because my PS3 is fried Smiley: frown

It's probably for the best, I saw the collector's edition of Tales of Xilia for the PS3 and I REALLY want it.

That's a real shame man. Ni No Kuni is super good.

Is Tales of Xilia related to the other "Tales Of..." games? I played Tales of Graces f, but the combat was not for me.

I agree completely. I just recently bought the game for $20 and attempted to play through it.. I still haven't gotten the last island unlocked. It really is repetitive and all of the dense city makes it impossible to enjoy all the new crazy fast cars. The game really makes the series seem stagnant, in spite of innovation... San Andreas came close to being what GTAIII was to me, GTAIV doesn't come close.

As for what I've been playing...
Played the Sword of the Stars: The Pit demo, debating on buying.
Wishing heavily that Morrowind or Oblivion had decent controller support so I wouldn't have to scrounge for some 3rd party controller mod.
Picked up the FTP dungeon crawler MMO Rusty Hearts on steam.. Not bad.
And a sprinkling of old school 3rd/4th/5th generation console games.

Must. Resist. Resubbing to FFXI. Having to buy new Expansion. /ing wrists...

I hear a lot of good things about Xenoblade but haven't actually looked into it. How is it like an MMO?

I really don't play video games much anymore, but there are several more innovative titles I'd like to try out for inspiration/new experiences. Most games are just too derivative for me... I started Ni No Kuni expecting something great, and was disappointed at what a vanilla JPRG it was. Granted, I apparently stopped playing just before it gets more interesting, so perhaps I'll give it another chance, but thus far I wasn't enjoying it at all. The gameplay was entirely too predictable and easy.

Basically, I'm not much fun at parties.

Oh, right: recent games I've been meaning to check out, based solely on the level of word of mouth. If there are any "must-plays" that I should know about, please share:

Skyrim
Demon/Dark Souls
Xenoblade
Catherine
The new Fire Emblems.
Possibly Skyward Sword.

Some indie titles like Braid and a few others whose names I don't recall off the top of my head.
