So here is my question, pretty simple. I'm helping my brother sign up for the FFXIV A Relm Reborn beta and I for some reason the United States of America is not listed as an option for you to select for country. I signed up for the beta awhile back and didn't have this issue. Am I just blind or is this a known issue or does anyone know anything about this?
I see just about every other country listed except the U.S.

My only thought is they have closed applications for US but I can't imagine why that would be. A friend of mine noticed the same thing. Have you tried emailing their support?

I have not emailed SE about this yet but I will probably try that some time soon. I figured there was a chance some one on this forum might know and people tend to give better answers than companies. If I do get a response from SE I'll go ahead and post it here so anyone else who has the same question can find it.
I would find it odd that they would close off a single region considering the main mechanics of the game can be tested regardless of where you are playing from. Though I did played FFXI for many years and saw SE do many odd things during that time.

Around the internet I've noticed several people having this issue. I put in my application way back in January so I haven't noticed it myself. Like Wint said, it's possible they closed applications for our region. Too many applicants? I don't know. Worst comes to worst you'll have to wait for the open beta in phase four come summer.

You are on the EU site sign-up. I had the same issue too, the EU sign-up version doesn't list US
