How realistic would a music player in FF XIV be?Follow
I think it would be cool if a music player with most or all of the FF music was in the game. A person could choose which background music to listen to during combat and out of combat at any place. I would like to hear music from previous FF games like 9, 10, and 14. There is a addon like this for WOW but with that game's music.
I think Yoshi mentioned including a similar feature at some point down the line, except it would be more like the Sphere Theater in FFX or a jukebox. I'm hoping (in vain, probably) that the PS3 version will allow the user to play their own music stored on the HDD from the XMB like Catherine does. Considering how few games allow this feature, I doubt it'll happen.
PS3 wont get it, that's for sure.
One thing though, the FF games have a lot put into the musical score. So I don't see them letting you get rid of it because you like the opening music to FFVII instead.
Too much money invested in each title to let you do that. That's what I think anyway.
