Tell us your obsession with FFXIV: ARR. What are you doing, how does it make you feel, what are you doing to satisfy your urge?

Me, I am checking sties multiple times a day in hopes that new information is released. I'm checking HERE to see if pictures will be added. I also look at the box are and marvel at its awesomeness. I come to zam.com every time I open the internet browser just because its has to do with FFXIV: ARR. I can't stop thinking about how much fun I'm going to have. I haven't been this excited for a game since my dad said he was going to pick up a Sega Genesis, when I was what, seven?

I'm coping by creatign an OCD like rhythm of checking websites and reading the same information over and over. I also create threads like this to make sure I'm not the only one. I guess once Phase 3 hits things will change but between phase 3 and 4 I will fall off the wagon again.

Anyone else going crazy like me?

I'm right there with you. I'm constantly looking for new info, pictures, and video. I just had surgery 2 days ago, and not only does the pain medicine they gave me keep the pain bearable, it knocks me out. So I'm looking at my pain medicine as helping me skip forward in time to get to ARR sooner. Don't tell my girlfriend I think like this. She already thinks I'm crazy enough because it's all I really talk about. I don't think she really understands what is about to happen when ARR comes out. She wasn't around when I played XI.

I'm planning world (server) domination with the economy. Doesn't mean I'm obsessed. Nope. Not at all.

What other site's are you all using, I lurk here and on LS webpage and sometimes look at the squeenix page but thats about it. You all have any recommendations?

I'm also messaging old 1.0/FFXI friends on facebook to see if they are playing, and if not, convincing them as to why they should at least give it a shot. Aside from that, I'm playing tons of games on PS3 to pass the time, though nothing is really holding my interest that long...

I'm constantly checking forums, and have watched every video I can find. I even stalk the forums at work,( shhhhhhhh ... Don't tell.) I pray, I won't break my computer running the benchmark over and over, just to make sure my rating don't change. Obsessed? Never! ;)

Checking a couple sites each day for info I know probably wont be there yet lol but thats ok!

Planning what to work on first/finish off from my first character and making plans to start a new alt .
Its difficult to wait though, doing a bit of ff11 just as a fill in.

Goiong to have 2 accounts this time so making prep for that too. All of this isnt very distracting though seems like forever lol

I've been refreshing this place multiple times a day, and today I even created a couple of my very own threads for the first time! We should discuss certain tiny details while waiting for the magic from E3 (and Phase 3 shortly after) =)

I've taken up Roleplaying and Veganism. . . The later is more related to my dating life since I'm really interested in someone else that's also a vegan, but I'd like to think that a Realm Reborn has miraculously convinced me to be more compassionate and healthier so that I can channel my anger to conflicts in game >.>

I'm refreshing Zam a lot on my phone while watching a lot of TV. I have a few games lined up from gamefly but I can't seem to find anything that I can play for more than a day or two. The last one was RE Revelations. I figure if FF XIV is any good it may be the last game I ever play when you look at where gaming seems to be going.

During a nap yesterday I had a dream the game started, and I quickly found myself in a party in Mor Dhona, duo'ing with a stranger, trying to avoid Dodore and his minions because there were just two of us. Only thing I really remember was using abilities that don't exist any more and figuring they were doing well enough to keep going instead of stopping to reset them to ones that are actually in the game now.

Made sense at the time. ***** it, that ability did 800. Stick to the old ones.

ot: Pretty much the same as everybody else. I pretty much check ffxiv main page, lodestone, zam, beta forums, and then fb in that order.. Sometimes reddit. Also keep watching this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDMM-sksYhM over and over. Been talking to my old ffxi friends and we keep thinking of ways we will hit the ground running come launch also been actively recruiting ppl from work who want to give this game a try who have never played FF before. However, since I cant actualy play the game I have been re-working my way through FF7,8,9,xenogears,chrono cross.. That and watching all my shows like Dexter, game of thrones etc etc
