Start screen and beyond!Follow
Anyone else getting stuck after hitting start? I'm seeing a perpetual loading icon, hearing some kind of cut scene going on, my GPU usage is even 100%. But all there is, is the loading icon and black screen.
a CS does play, so its your PC ORRrrrrrrrrr the other thousands of players getting to the same place at the same time. I always wait a few hours before I start to play for that reason alone. It saves a headache and waste of time if you never get in and have to wait anyway.
From what I'm reading in the bugs forum, seems to be happening to a few people. Must be congestion at this point.
Found a fix through google.
If anyone else is having this problem:
C:\Users{USERNAME}\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn (Beta Version)\FFXIV.cfg
open with notepad and look for
CutsceneMovieOpening 0
set the 0 to a 1. and it will fix the issue
