Job change level?Follow

At what level can we change jobs?
Or are we able to change jobs right off the bat by simply purchasing a different weapon (I believe someone else might have said this).

Yep Ostia is right it's at level 10.

You need to do your level 10 class quest too. Just hitting level 10 isn't enough.

Like everyone is saying its lvl 10 but depending on what city your in you will have to finish your lvl 15 main story to get the airship pass. I started as a pug in uldah and wanted to try marader in limsa and it took me till lvl 16 to get my pass.
