Go to your account management on the ps3 enter the code under redeem code, then go into your SE (on your pc) account and add the code there under services i think it is.
after you enter the code into the ps3 it should bring up a screen that you can download the client. From there you will be able to link your psn account to your SE account as long as you have added the code on the SE account page. I had to exit out of the ps3 client then open again to get the option to link, think it takes a few minutes to process.

Go into the STORE and then redeem code, on left side. Menu, on the bottom.

Once you redeem your code you'll be able to start the download process, it will be with your games. Then you download the client.

It will ask you to log into SE user name and password, once you are downloading, and accepting terms, then it will ask
for the 20 digit code.

Step 1: Connect the PlayStation®3 system to a broadband connection
Step 2: Sign in to your Sony Entertainment Network account on PlayStation®3
If you do not have an SEN account, please register for one (more information on www.playstation.com)
Step 3: Choose Account Management>Redeem Codes
Step 4: Select Redeem Promotion Code - this brings up a screen to enter the code you have received
Step 5: Enter code and follow the steps on screen to redeem content
