I have a question..
I made a character with my fiancé on our PS3's...
We created our characters ( both humans ) and both on the same server and both in the same home city... but we don't see each other.
Is there something we need to do in order to be able to meet up in-game other than all of that?

PS3 has some minor NPC/player loading lag. I'll assume you guys found each other by now but the best advice I can give is to not chase around the city looking for each other. Decide upon a landmark and wait several seconds.Manifesto!!!!
Type /invite [her name] in the chat box? Would that work? I know a lot of the early quests are kinda solo-ish, but at least you could find each other.
You have to get through the first quest (intro) before people load, maybe that is the issue?

I have been in sice the Alpha and I still forget about that. Good point!

That was the issue, thanks... sorry about the stupid question, that was my first day of beta when I asked it.

An in-game heads up that you are still in the "tutorial area" would be nice.
First thing I upon logging in was send a /tell to an old friend, and I was really confused why it wasn't working! I thought the chat was just busted, or /tells weren't working in Beta, or I was typing the /tell command wrong. Spent 5 minutes at least trying different variations of /tell and /whisper before I finally gave up.
Pretty frustrating for the VERY first thing you do in a new MMO to seemingly not work.
