Hello,
I was just wondering how you activate the THM's limit break on a PS3. I created a hot key for the limit break. Pressed the button combination. Then I would get an AOE reticule to "aim" it. But after that I could not actually CAST the limit break. I pressed the button combination multiple times and all that happened was I would just sit there with the red AOE reticule up and nothing else would happen. Did I do something wrong???

did you hit enter( X i think)? after you moved the AOE circle to where you wanted it to go?

Haven't done it myself yet, but I'm pretty sure you need to be in a party of four to set it off.

I freaking hate the THM limit break. I went through so many groups failing to use the thing properly before realizing you actually have to aim it rather than having it execute on the target you're already locked on.

Not to mention some melee usually steals it before you can do it, which would be fine but for some fights the aoe damage is just better.

That sounds like a pain. Have you posted this on the feedback forum? If not, I'd highly suggest doing that. While it wouldn't be much of an issue for mouse/keyboard users, controller users would have a rough time with it.

Actually, for most big fights, the tanks defensive party buff would be the best way to go. Just saying...

I seem to be having trouble getting my THM to activate the limit break as well. I was in the party, had the bar full, pressed the button, aimed the red reticule, pressed X, and it gave me a wierd message saying that I have not unlocked it yet? I was not aware that you could unlock the limit break. Has anyone else run into anything similar?

I'm actually having the same issue using ARN's LB. i get the aiming circle and everything.

With the "error" message saying that you need to unlock it first? I hope I'm not missing a quest, like I was when I got to lvl 20 on goldsmith and realized I needed to head out and complete the quest to unlock the meld function.
