I checked someone with the Onion helm on and noticed that they significantly buffed what it did compared to 1.0's durability loss/weakness duration. It now has 20%ish increased EXP for any job below 15. Was that just for the beta or will it be that way for launch as well? Can we expect the Helm of light to have a similar buff? Not that It's a huge deal or anything, but it would provide a nice time saver when leveling up for various cross-class abilities.
I don't remember Onion Helm having any experience bonus ..
The stats were I believe VIT, PIE+1 and Durability Loss -20 or something.
Garlond Goggles does give the experience bonus though.

Oh I guess I got the two mixed up then XD.
Garlond has the 20% XP bonus, which now is a really short-lived bonus considering how fast you level past 10. It's a nice add, but the difference is slight. The nice thing is that it had decent defensive stats for the 1-10 levels.
i really hope the new helm has exp+%
Damn for a second here you made me think this abomination would get slightly useful. I wish they'd given me the glasses instead. After all, I did preorder the 1.0 collector edition.
Anyway, the 2.0 collector stuff looks much better and this time they're generous enough to let me have it for free so I'll happily leave that helm hidden deep in storage where it belongs.

Ombre - Retired Dragoon/bard on Phoenix.
Does the exp bonus affect quest rewards as well?
i don't think so... However I've wondered this myself... I didn't see any extra xp on my fate completions from rested bonus so I'm leaning towards the no...
