I pre-ordered the PC digital download on July 27th and received a confirmation e-mail, along with my registration code. However, when I followed the instructions and found my order at the Square Enix Store, only the Early Access Instructions .pdf was available for download. I registered the game and it told me I would be contacted when the game was available for download. To this date I am still unable to download the game. Can anyone else confirm this same issue? Is the game still not available for download? I thought at least by this point it would be available for download as P4 and Early Access are scheduled to begin very soon.
Any experiences or insights would be most helpful. Thanks!

IIRC this isn't too much different from any other MMO's. Both SWTOR and TSW you had to wait for the Early Access or Open Beta in order to download the client. Even WoW and RIFT are the same when they release a new xpac
Ok, I really hope that is the case. Just wanted to check to see if anyone else has been able to download it. I already filed an inquiry with SE, but have yet to hear back. I really appreciate how much Yoshi P has been reaching out to the fan base and kicking *** with the relaunch of this game, but SE as a company continues to struggle when it comes to customer service.

It's not that they are struggling to get it out for download, more like you are struggling to be patient, following the pattern of the rest of the beta, the client will come out a day or 2 before the go-live time.

Isn't the code you got in your email for the pre order/early access? You should be able to download the client from the beta forums as the open beta client will update to release.

It seems like he wasn't in closed beta, so he isn't even allowed to see the beta forums, nevermind read them or grab a link from there. I'm in the same boat.

I'm talking about being able to download all 6GB of the game, not just the 100MB launcher.

Ya I imagine it'll be then, unless I missed something and you know for certain that the launcher will let us patch the game on the 15th.
So to answer OP's question, download the launcher, and stand by to be able to patch.

The receipt I got from their website (ordered a CE copy and a PC download copy for my g/f and I) had two serial/product numbers. Is this just to register the game? Will it give me early access as well? Or, will I be receiving two new codes to use for early access?
From my experience you normally receive a code to register the game and a second code to get early access. If this is the same here, when do we get the early access code?
According to the beta forums you're supposed to uninstall the current client/download you were using to play during the earlier betas because a "new" download was going to be given out during phase 4.

Is anyone having issues with their game code?
I preordered a PC version of the CE game for the early access - amazon sent me a confirmation as well as a separate email with the a code made up of 6 letters, 3 numbers, 6 letters, 3 numbers - alas when i input it into the square enix site i get an error message.
