I've been having trouble reactivating my old FF14 account. Everything from games not listed to FF14 being listed as registered in 2013 and not 2010 when originally released. No idea what is occurring there and waiting to hear back from SE on the issue. I think I clicked a wrong button when signing for the open beta and it replaced my original game registration date with the beta registration date.
Anyway, my point is that I am living in the UK soon to move to the US -- so if my old account is broken and I pre-order a new version, which site should I order from, the EU or the NA? I'm thinking it doesn't make a difference as during beta I played on a NA server.

You're probably better off getting the NA version so any expansion that comes out you can purchase in the US as the UK copies won't work with them.
This is totally off topic but when I read the title I could not help it but sing to myself: Moving to the country, gonna eat me a lot of peaches!

Keep in mind that if you make a new SE account, the region must match the game that you buy. As long as they match, you can play on any server and/or live in any country.
eg. I used an NA account with NA version of the game, live in Asia, and play on an "EU" server.

I moved from Canada to the US and they "support" said they do not support a country address change at this time.

I got into my old account, the one with the CE registered. It says it is EU version so that answers that. I'll have to buy EU versions of any future expansions. The only thing is that under my game services there are no options, no characters or anything. I'll wait until release to see if this account is going to work,and then kick a storm*. :)
