PAYMENT question!Follow

ok, I am now ready for EA, I have my ps3 account linked to my SE account, was in beta p4 and now have my EA code...my question is, WILL the first 30 days of play be free or do I need to play before EA ends? or can I wait till AFTER the first 30 days to pay? I just don't want to have to stop playing because of payment confusion, my CC is already linked to my SE account so WHEN should I make first payment?
