ok, so i'm a bit confused. i played ffxiv off and on till the servers went down. i just loged into SE account management and went to Select Service and under Active Service Accounts it says FFXIV. Then I compared this to my FFXI account service and there was alot more information there. I'm not quite sure what I have to do to download the actual game. I uninstalled the original v1 game off my pc....was i supposed to do this? I'm a little confused on this: where do i download the new game? should i reinstall the original pc software that i bought back at first relese? do i get early access to game? do i get to bring my v1 character over to v2? why is my character not listed under the account management select service? (i swear, it used to be listed there)

I have already registered my pre-order and I am a non-legacy 1.0 CE player. If I log in to account management, it shows nothing as being registered. This is normal.

can anyone else verify this? when i click on it, it pulls up a d/l box with the option to run or save. when i click run my antivirus is telling me that the publisher cannot be verified. i find this a bit starnge...SE should be a verified publisher, right?

im also a V 1.0 non legacy player who at this time cannot download the update patch it says "proper registration of the code required", so since i bought the collector's edition of the original V 1.0 i thought i will automatically get early access, i havent got any e-mails from square enic and im starting to wonder should i just go an buy the early access code ?
please help a confused and anxious soul *__*

There will be nothing listed under the FFXIV ARR portion in your SE account page, this is normal. No, you do not need to redownload the game, simply download the client previously shown above.You only get early access if your are a Legacy player. You can confirm this by looking on your select service and going under FFXIV. if you have the legacy icon then you are good for early access;

yes you get bring your 1.0 character to 2.0 when you first log into the game.

CE of 1.0 DOES NOT mean early access. early access is for 2 players: LEGACY and PRE-ORDERS of 2.0. Not yelling, just stating boldly as people keep missing these parts.
If you want early access, you have to purchase the SE version of 2.0
Hopefully this will help.
If you pre-order SE 2.0, you should get a email from SE.
