It was for a long time overnight. Exit and restart the game launcher. If it goes to a black screen, wait a bit. If it gives you an error, close and try again.

The start button won't appear highlighted until you've cleared lobby server access. If it's giving you the error code, it just means it's being hammered. Wait a minute or two and try again!!
