I'm addicted to ffxiv. I'm also addicated and obsessed with collecting minions! Let's start with some basics!
Q: What are minions?
A: They are loyal pets who will follow you to the ends of the Eorzea. They serve no combat purpose and are purely for vanity.
Q: Is there a complete list of minions we can collect?

Q: Hey! How do I get them?

Q: What is the point of this thread, you useless hack???
A: To facilitate minion discussion, collection, and exchange! Unfortunately, the AH leaves something to be desired right now, so obtaining them through mundane means is not an option as of now (at least on my server). That being said! If you need a minion crafted? Need help getting one? Post it here!

I'm on Ultros server, and I'm looking for the following minions (Note: I know that there are probably not too many high level crafters yet, but nonetheless, I want it out there that I am seeking):
Tiny Tortoise - Esp interested in this minion~!
Coblyn Larva
Gravel Golem
Kidragora
Model Vanguard
Wind-up Aldgoat
Wind-up Dullahan
Wind-up Qiqirn

I got the airship and the stupid chigoe. Thats all.

I need to work on getting the chigoe myself. It's a simple quest chain.

I stumbled on it. I dont wear it because my 4 year old hates flys and keeps telling me to kill it. I got weaver to 15 to I got the ability that lets me succeed 100% on my crafts and I have 15 goldsmith atm, but I am almost to lvl 29 with thm and one more level and I get black mage. I'll work on goldsmith immediately afterwards and hook you up with the two goldsmith ones when I get that high up. And good luck fishing for that turtle

You can get a little mushroom minion called baby bun by getting the highest rank on the fate "lazy for you" in the east shroud. Around the Nine Ivies area.

I ended up getting baby bun my first time doing "lazy for you". I don't know if it's a guaranteed drop, though.

Ratings are based on how much to contribute to the FATE. So do as much healing and damage as you possibly can!
So has anyone figured out where to find any minions besides, wind up airship, baby bun, and stupid ugly chigoe thing...?

Hey shake, added you at lunch. I'm back at work now, and my dude is posted up in a Sylph hut. I just found out that I need to get archer to 15 to get black mage unlocked, so my goldsmith progress will move slow. I'll hopefully push to have it up there by the end of this 3 day weekend.
