Hey everyone!
I'm just posting to hopefully get a few things clarified. I am a 1.0 CE user without early access. I read a post on here a few days ago stating they were pushing launch back to the 29th. Does anyone know if this is accurate or not? Also, is it going to launch the same times as the betas have in the past? (i.e. 2:00 AM PST (5:00 AM EST?) I have been reading there have been some major congestion problems and various errors, so I don't look forward to having a smooth play sesion any time soon anyhow. I'd just like to know when the actual launch dates and times are and don't really feel like scouring the net for it. I can wait longer to play. I just started a second playthrough of Dragon's Dogma, so I'm good for a while. Appreciate any answers I get here, thanks. :)

I received an email 2 days ago that said I could register my early access code. The email stated that EA goes until the 29 th. I just assumed that it was a typo because it did not say that the time frame had changed. I would assume that launch is still the 27 th.

From what I understand, the extra 2 days are a grace period for customers who won't recieve their retail key on day one.
You can log in right now (server issues permitting) - it's the 27 in Japan!

Thanks for replying everyone. Apparently, they must have launched, because it's letting me update the client. Gonna take a while, so I'm gonna trek to Gransys and deliver the Hydra head. :P

What you read was a statement about early access lasting until the 29th. It still is. Anyone who signed up with early access has to register by the 30th.

Ahh, okay. I misunderstood. I thought it meant they were pushing release back. So it's just a grace period for them to get the game code registered. Got ya. On another note, I'm curious how many accounts are going to get banned due to preordering for early access, then cancelling the preorder? Regardless, I'm sure we'll hear from them all here. If not here, they'll be all over the main forums. Makes me chuckle a little. Anyhow, thanks Filth.
