Pretty ConfusedFollow

Looking for a little guidance on All these codes we have to put in. I'll give you all the background info first.

I bought a 1.0 collectors edition back during the first launch and registered it with Square. Only played a couple months and then quit. When ARR announced the beta I signed up and got into phase 2 and beyond. After I saw the preorder items I went and preordered the game. After a hassle which I will not go into here, I received my preorder code. I entered this on Square's site and it gave me another code. Entered this and it says you will get all these items.

I'm thinking, ok cool I'm set. Now I'm hearing that I will have to put in another code when I go pick up my physical copy of the game tonight? Where do I do this and is it even necessary? Do I go to the account management system or this new mogstation website?

And if I put this code in, it's not going to like overwrite my existing account or make me lose my CE and preorder items is it? This whole system is just confusing to me, and maybe I'm just overthinking it but damn I can't figure it out.

Oh and I never got any emails from Square about any codes or even when I could enter my codes, even though they said I would. The last email I got was about open beta.

Any help would be appreciated.

I got a sticky for this, but basically you don't have to do anything but login. You don't need to pick up another copy of the game really, you could cancel it. If you decide you want two accounts then you can pay for it and register it, but it will be a separate account. Your old 1.0 account gets a 14 day trial and the new account, should you decide to keep it, gets 30 days.
