Quick question regarding PS3 CE and PC SEFollow

I'm heavily leaning towards buying a standard edition PC version of this game, for platform versatility and all of that jazz. I've already started off with the PS3 CE edition. My question is, I should be able to keep all of the CE items on my characters, right? I haven't picked them up from the moogle yet, but everything should be fine, correct? Thanks in advance.

yes, you can. Actually I think you don't even have to register your PC version. You just need to install the program and when ask if you already have a service account, sign in with your ps3 username and password. If that don't work, you can actually register your pc copy and link it with your ps3 so they will work just like one account. Your username and password should be the same on the ps3 or pc anywhere in the world, so it is still access the same character data.
