Ok just a quick question regarding crafts, will they be profitable? Seems although they are very easy to level and not aimed for a profit via the AH. Don't get me wrong I will still level most if not all of them if everything stays so cheap but is this really worth the time to level it

Weaver ~lv30/Leatherworker L~lv20/GSM~15 during phase 3 only on a JP server, it was profitable. Some notes, lot of running between npcs, marketboard & retainer(who seems to nap standing..). ~30K earned from crafting items.
Small notes(good sellers):
-HQ items
-DoW gear
-HQ Accessories
-Botanist gathered items ~> hi demand
-Inventory fills fast if you have 2+ DoH/L

Yes they make money. As of today I have made a good 30k off weaving and the leather I need sells for 300-700 g each
Will mainly profit from Materia and Housing. Materia can only be obtainable from Aetherial and Crafted item, not Unique items. At higher level it seems like Aetherial drop less often (and less powerful), at least in the 1 run I did on Wanderer Palace we get 1 Aetherial, 2 Unique and 1 Darklight.

The lower lvl 19ish cotton items sell really good idk why lol
I have been searching for armour over level 15 and am guessing you have to hop all over the world to find it -

People who FATE grind instead of do quests look to the market boards for gear. I'm selling some pieces for 4k.
