A lot of people sit around (DD's) waiting for the duty finder to get them a group. What most of those people didn't do, is check that "Join in progress" box, and choose all languages. Try it, and see if it doesn't cut your waiting time down a little.

I just did this, and we beat Brayflox after a couple of wipes. My first time through the run. At the first boss, I ran out of mp curing the tank and we wiped, the tank left without comment.
a new tank arrived, and we went on. He was a war, and kept hate great. We wiped on a few tricky parts, but we won in the end .We talked about what went wrong, and we got a basic strat together. At the treasure chest, I asked the pt about my performance, and the tank said I did a great job as healer.
This is how DF should be IMO.

Well, not everyone is as skilled as you are running a dungeon for the first time.

Here he goes with the lies again. Brayflox is way more challenging for a healer than any of the previous dungeons. Way more status ailments to cure, and yes, some of the bosses have adds too.

OK, but I still can't comprehend how "multiple wipes" would occur... something must be seriously wrong.

Ever hear of doing content for the first time? Not just me, but the other PT members. Not everyone is good at new content.

Must you always attempt to derail threads with your unneeded negativity?

That was an opinion best left un-shared. Your parents must not have raised you right. For someone to, literally, have nothing but negativity of all shapes and sizes to share, there's gotta be something going on behind the scenes with you.

Do you need a hug or something? A friend? A relaxing shower? A warm bottle of milk?

I don't mind the wait times. It's better than 4 hours of LFP. Every party I've been in has been decent to excellent so no real complaints. I like that I can go do whatever then get pulled into the instance. I enjoy the duty finder.

He said something constructive to a conversation in another thread, and he got rated all the way up to excellent a couple times. Can't let that deed go unpunished, now can he? Gotta prove it's not the content of the post, but the image of the poster that gets people rated up and down.

A lot of tanks seem to have trouble with generating hate. They're too used to WoW tanking where 2 keystrokes means permanent threat. I have no issue holding hate in my PLD. I mark targets, and 'most' DPS follow the order. Some like to go for the 3 first, just because they decide they don't care about doing things efficiently, but I still rarely loose hate to them. Melee DPS seems to generate substantially more more hate that ranged classes. Healer hate only seems to come into play during AoE encounters. Some healers are resourceful enough to run to me when they pick up a freshly spawned add, others see fit to stop healing completely and run around like a degenerate.

I think we're always going to see bad and/or good players in the game.

Do people have to wait a long time for the duty finder? :o The longest I've waited was 10 minutes, I guess I'm lucky. I'll keep this in mind for whenever I have a long wait though, thanks!
#16REDACTED, Posted: Aug 31 2013 at 11:36 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Why? It is easy. I'd run it with you right now if I could log in. I'm on Midgardsormr.
