Ok so I was one of those people who registered their game to the wrong service accounts and got locked out of accessing their P4/Early Access characters. I immediately realized i messed up last friday, promptly filled out the given form for such a problem, and proceeded to wait. It has now been 2 full business days since i submitted the form the validate my identity and I've received no help.
Here's where my conspiracy theorist tendencies come to light, I think that SE secretly looks at the thousands of people who cannot access their former characters as a blessing in disguise. They are in no hurry to address this problem because this will ultimately increase traffic on 'problem servers' which are still continuing to see log-in and traffic issues even after the update. So basically were left in the dark, playing new characters on less populated servers until they fix the problem. I played P3 and i have no interest in starting over for a 3rd time. Anyone else in a similar boat?

I got onto a "problem server" - Balmung - without any issues tonight. Your conspiracy theory had some merit, but is wrong.
Occam's razor says the simplest explanation - that they are swamped with requests like yours and simply don't have the customer service personnel to deal with those requests - is most likely the correct one.
For that, SE ought to be held accountable since they could have hired some temp agents to help them out during the launch.

All servers saw relief and only four were still locked out of new character creation.
The true story is likely that there are very many people like you (my friend is one) and SE has bigger priorities right now than fixing each person's account one at a time. I'm sure that you are in a queue (no joke intended) and you'll be processed as soon as their overwhelmed support staff can get to you.
In the meantime re-rolling is a great way to fill the time!

That's not quite true. There are still people experiencing 90k, 3102 and 1017(not as frequently) errors. A friend of mine attempted to roll a new character on my server several times. The first time she tried I was there with her and only Lich and Phoenix servers(both EU) were available. She tried a few hours later and only 5 servers were available. Both attempts were made early afternoon.
All but 6 servers are available currently, but it's god's hour and my server is still one of the unavailable
