Was expecting to see Mandragoras or Mamool Ja from FFXI (finally left Uldah long enough to check out Limsa).. wonder what other FFXI references Ill see (i already knew/know about the goblins and bubbly bernie) havent been the Gridania yet.. cant wait to see what I see there... would be funny if I ran into a Yagudo lol
In the Burning Wall there are these creatures straight out of XII called Mirrorknights. I forget if that was their name in XI as well.
I like how Genbu and his many brothers are right there outside of every zone.
Are Yagudos even in this game? I haven't seen any orcs, quadavs, or yagudos yet....

I played the SH*T out of FFXII: International Zodiac Job System, so when I saw those while randomly exploring and trying to rank up in my GC, I was very happy.
Playing the translated IZJS emulated at 2x resolution on my PC was one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had. It makes me wish so much that SE will release an HD version of that gem of a game.
Those Mirroknights are awesome! Reminds me, the Golden Fleece must drop something good. People are always farming them. Hmmm.

Pugils are back, miss those from the Valkrum Dune days - I don't however miss the crabs
I was so excited when I saw those level 8 pugils near Limsa. I took one of them on as a level 30 weaver just so I could see Screwdriver in action. Ahh, the memories! Although unlike the dunes this one didn't kill me. Maybe next time.
