So, this past sunday I finally got my SCH to 50 and last night I completed the main story line. I headed to Vesper Bay to get started on the HM primal fights, also picked up the GC promotion quest.
Some questions i have; do the HM primal fights only drop their respected weapons? I've already beaten Ifrit (really fun fight) and have the Ifrit's Codex, now I'm on to Garuda, once i beat her, should i keep fighting her to get her version of the SCH weapon or go straight to Titan? Do their weapons increase from fight to fight? Ifrit > Garuda > Titan?
Once i have these fights completed, I assume i should work on AK and CM to work up tombstones to get DL gear correct? Or is there something else i will need to do before doing AK and CM?

Dont do any primals until you have started your relic;
As far as primals go its ifirit<titan < garuda weapon for most classes. I wouldnt farm them until you are on that stage of your relic though.
Endgame goes like this in my opinion:
level 50 *main story and DH dungeon cleared via grand company, ak opens up as next dungeon)
Start relic
When relic is on stage do AK (stop here to farm tomestones for gear/green AK gear/money for HQ crafted gear)
do all other quests in relic up to primals
Do primals hard mode once your relic quest is on that stage (farm here for weapons if you choose/dont have a HQ level 55 weapon by now)
Finish relic
continue farming tomestones/gear from AK/HQ crafted gear
Start bahamuts coil

damn, i've done some stuff out of order then. i need to stop. I got some quest from the NPC (ironheart?) where he is questioning my gear, is this the relic quest? it requires me to go do AK i believe.
