other support avenues?Follow

So, suddenly I have no active characters. This is almost the same thing that happened during 1.0. Also, I purchased the collector's edition but it wants me to upgrade to the collector's edition in the mog account thing. About the collector's edition, there has been no response to my support email for several weeks now. About my inactive characters, if I click on automatic renewal, it says the service is unavailable due to maintenance. A couple of days have passed and there has been no response to my support email. And, of course, I can't login to forums on lodestone, because I have no active character...

Arghhh.... Do you have any ideas about how else I can try to get a response from them?

Not sure if you've seen this post and I'm also not sure if your characters have ever been active in 2.0.

If you have not follow the instructions by downloading the 2.0 game client and registering it to your account. If you had 1.0 then your SE account will automatically allow the download and play of 2.0.

Yes, I am a legacy what's it. I played since the start of early access. Then I suddenly had no active characters.

So, still no contact from support. But, I got a survey email asking about how satisfied I am with the customer service!

There use to be a chat support and I believe it is available from 6am-2pm pst (9-5 eastern).

Phone support is the third option.

Both chat and phone support can take over 2+ hours to get a hold of an actual representative, make sure you have a lot of time if you are going to start one of those routes.

Yes, I used chat support and it was canceled after a few hours. Now, chat support doesn't appear as an option.

But, I see why they sent the survey, I guess. They didn't send me email, but they added a comment to the ticket saying that I need to call them...

So, the problem was that I was not supposed to buy a copy of ARR. Now I have 2 accounts and have paid for the collectors edition twice... At the time, I found it very confusing and many people didn't know what to do either. I have not had anything like these problems with any other game... Square should hire FEMA or the TSA to manage user accounts, because there would probably be fewer problems.
