FFXIV: APP Follow

OK, first off, i'm sorry, i'm sure i am not the first to ask, nor the last, but i' not good with this kinda stuff
so here's my issue, if it is much of one

downloaded FFXIV: APP
used 7zip to extract to desktop (couldn't find any actual usage instructions on zam o.O)
from what i found on the forums i gotta start game, and log in first, so i did
and its supposed to translate japanese to english? i see where it has its own chat window, went outside city, made party with my chocobo, i got a macro that i made using google translate, hit that and this is what i got:

[05:54:26] There are no party members.
[05:55:14] You ready a bunch of Gysahl greens.
[05:55:15] Saga joins the party.
[05:55:16] You use a bunch of Gysahl greens.
[05:55:16] Cham Nakam defeats the huge hornet.
[05:55:16] You summon Saga to battle.
[05:55:21] [Raina Lightblade] chotto toire ittekimasu

now isnt' it supposed to translate the last line of that??? or did i do something wrong somewhere along the way??

o and i'm running window's 7 64bit, got the framework 4.5, used 7zip, and i'm running panda antivirus

Edit: also getting weird stuff like this:

it was in romaji and i finally got to see some actual Japanese character's in game, it didn't translate those either, here's what it gave me:

[03:52:06] Roie Classen:タイタン討伐戦:クリア目的：核後経験者、色々避けれる自信のある方、1ドットで全滅しても泣かない方＠ナ1、盾1、DPS2、ヒーラー1募集です。職添えてtellくださいませ

Well the sending stuff is disabled until I vet that out and make sure it has no adverse actions.:) The not translating japanese I've seen happen but typically if google blocks the request if they feel it's getting spammed too much. Even if it's just started up. I'll look into it; but have not seen it happen in a long time.
