So I noticed that, when using the eye mount, some Lala's are laying down and others are sitting. Does anyone know what determines this? My first thought was height but during a discussion in my FC it was brought up that gender effects some mounts (not sure if this is true or not). So yeah... Anyone know for sure?
Likely gender; like the unicorn and female Hyur who ride sidesaddle.
It could also be a difference between Dunesfolk and Plainsfolk Lalafell.

Gender. Males hold on for dear life.

That was my best guess. I figured females would need to be more "lady like".
I think my guy only lays down when you press forward.... like he's holding on for dear life. He sit up when you stop. I bang him into walls and trees when he rides because he's riding a carnivorous flying eyeball.

Damn it's a shame the males have a lame riding animation. I was actually excited to get my hands on the mount but now I don't think I'll want to use it.
Totally expected to enter this thread and read about people who wanted to ride Lalafell around Eorzea

I love the male Lala animation, thought it was really cool the way they hang on for dear life...so I made a female Lala........they sit there ever so cool and just touch one hand down to steady themselves...sigh I still prefer the male Lala laying down and clinging to the eyelid.
