FFXIV APP has stopped working :: Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV, FF14)

As the title says everytime i try to launch ffxiv app i get a windows error message saying it has stopped working, nothing ever launches or appears. I have up to date .net no UAC running or AV when trying so it shouldnt be blocked. I also extracted the file with winrar not default windows

anyone? i really want to figure out the best rotation and dmg for my class but i cant get this blasted thing to work :(

Do you have .NET4.5 installed? Up to date may just be 4.0 and Windows 8 only ships with a basica 4/4.5. Try this link:
