How was your weekends then?

Miner 42 → 45
Botanist 21 → 23
Carpenter 17 → 32
Monk 42 → 43

Decided to do some more of the story (been putting it off as I'm at The Stone Vigil and am getting wary of DF). Got in a party quite quickly and started, first fight went to hell as Tank only marked the first mob then kept changing between the other two. I asked him if he would mind marking them 1 → 2 → 3 and he dropped without saying a word. 'Here we go,' I though as a rep joined, he said he was only interested in the sword drop and we continued. This tank was fantastic, am now 1/1 on The Stone Vigil and the Scimitar dropped. I had the correct mats for the synth on me but he left party before I had the chance to offer to do it for him. Turned out to be a good weekend all in, the only annoying part was trying to HQ Walnut Lumber for the leve quest!

Managed to get;

Fisher 42 - 50
Botanist 1 - 15

Not a very productive weekend as I was helping numerous people out in my FC doing story fights/dungeons.

A guildmate asked for help with the level 20 guildhest which made me realize I never did any aside from the first one. So I hopped on the white mage and completed all the intermediate ones and then helped clear the level 20 with him. The XP ended up bringing my white mage from 34 to 35.

Took thaumaturge 18-19 before switching to arcanist and going 18 to 21. When I first started playing I couldn't stand arcanist but the class has really started to grow on me. There's still a couple of things I find annoying like losing my pet to random aggro if I forget to take it off guard while riding around mounted, but I ended up having fun soloing with my tanking carbuncle.

Leveled weaver 30-31 and then took botany 27-28 while gathering mats for culinarian. Culinarian got the biggest gain overall for the weekend going from 25 to 35. Only 2 more levels before I get Stead Hand II and then I'll go back to focus on my other crafts.

It isn't even just that I got every Disciple of Hand/Land class to 50, but that I also made every HQ pieces of gear myself with largely NQ materials. I was damn proud of myself.

Oh, and I was also proud of making this for myself too:

Armorer 40 ---> 50
Goldsmith 25 ---> 47
Miner 29 ---> 32
Dragoon 39 ---> 40 and beat Titan story mode finally.

It's official, I'm a crafter lol. First job to 50 was armorer, and soon to be followed up by Goldsmith. Of course I wish I had known how much money fishers made selling red coral... I might have levelled that instead of Mining... oh well.

Overall a very good weekend. Smiley: grin

Pretty busy weekend for this game.

PLD to 50
Relic quest again for PLD
WHM to 34 for stoneskin/MRD to 8 for bloodbath
Grinded Prae/CM endlessly for DL gear on PLD (fully decked as of 4 AM this morning)

We downed turn 4 with relative ease. Kind of disappointed we couldn't practice Twin last week but meh I'm sure the lovely twisters will be back to throttle us this week. Got a nice Allagan earring/ring for my troubles, though.

Hope everyone had a fun and productive weekend!

CNJ - > 30, still not caught up on missions, ran another Toto Rak and got a nifty staff. These days when Minfilia or another NPC says "Oh you go rest now" I take it as a sign to go get another level under my belt. Smiley: laugh Going to go unlock White Mage before I go any further, if I can. Unlocked THM and got it to 8 or so. Just trying to get it high enough for Surecast and Swiftcast on my CNJ.

BTN - > 21, CPTR -> 22, with some bonus LTHR to 10 and BSM to 15. Then miner to 6 - because I'll be dammned if I pay 30K gil for another stack of iron ingots if I can help it.

So overall no big progress in any one area, just a lot of little progression.

FYI - Blacksmith/Armourer Guild Merchant, the Elezen: you can buy 99 Iron ores for about 1900 Gil. Iron Ingot is a blacksmith 13 recipe.

I didn't see them on the list when I checked. Smiley: eek I'll check again. Thanks!

They're probably cheaper on the AH... if you're competition is an NPC, people will usually tend to price it lower to attract business.

You can also get HQ this way.

I started mining for the crystals, but I stayed for the ores! Smiley: grin

On Friday I finished all of the artifact crafting gear producible by LTW and WVR (read: a ton of crap, all HQ) for the aforementioned two DoH, my CRP and BTN, one of my friend's BSM, ARM, CUL and MIN and my other friend's GSM, ALC and FSH. It was really a collaborative effort, with my BTN getting the crawler cocoons, the MIN getting darksteel and gold ore, and the GSM synthing them into gold nuggets. It was a huge accomplishment that left me thinking "what now" for a day lol.

(Tip: If you want to level crafting classes, try leveling at the same time as people you know that are leveling other crafts and gathering classes. For the extra materials when you need them.)

We researched and finally joined an awesome Free Company on Saturday: Fairy Tail of Goblin. Also got our primaries: BRD, PLD and BLM up to 43 and got access to the Garuda fight. Time to start gravitating towards the endgame dungeoning. Edit: and to start planning and saving for FC Housing!

I got MNK relic weapon and another two pieces of DL gear. Here's hoping this 2.05 patch makes getting tomes less of a grind so I can finally get all my DL pieces and hopefully get Relic +1 and some AF2 pieces soon.

- Leveled PLD to 38 (Really enjoying Coerthas. Snow zones are my favorite).

- Promoted to Flame Sergeant 2nd Class.
