Unspoiled nodes.Follow

Is there a pattern? I have been writing the times they pop and they seem random..

Each type of unspoiled node will pop at a specific time of the game day, then vanish 3 game hours later, or after you've used the node in full. Whichever comes first. But yes, there is a pattern. For example Astral Rock will always spawn at 9pm, Darksteel Ore always at 1am, Gold Sand always at 5am, Gold Ore always at 9am, and so on, and so on.

If you close out of the mining window before you use all your mining attempts, the node will vanish.

OP:
Post#4 in this link shows the spawn times for mining.

Click your clock and it'll toggle between local time, server time, and Eorzea time.

Since you're on PS3 you need to go into mouse mode to click the time. Just press R1+L3 (i.e. press in the left analog stick). Then click on the icon that says LT to toggle times.

Indeed a handy tool. I'll have to pass it off to someone in my FC who was asking about this stuff yesterday and didn't quite seem to be grasping my explanations.

I had to so some major updating on that post. At first I thought things like Gold Ore and Darksteel were random, but found out after 50 it was always a constant.... for now anyway. I printed this up for when I am mining. It's helped me out a lot. :

Quote:
Pop Times
1am: Dark-steel ore (3rd from the Top) (Camp Dragonhead)

5am: Gold Dust (2nd from the Top) (Camp Drybone)

9am: Gold Ore (3rd from the Bottom) (Camp Drybone)
Vanity pet 2nd from the bottom (Camp Drybone)

1pm: Clusters/Grade 4 Matter (Revenant's Toll)

5pm: Rock Salt (Wineport)
Clusters/Grade 4 Matter (Wineport) (Revenant's Toll)

9pm: Astral rock (2nd from the Bottom) (Camp Dragonhead)
Clusters/Grade 4 Matter (Revenant's Toll)

Cluster Nodes
1 Grade 4 carb matter
2 Lightning cluster
3 Fire cluster
4 Wind cluster
5 Water cluster
6 Ice cluster
7 Earth cluster
8 Empty

To change the timer on the PS3: L1 + R3 for mouse mode. Move the mouse over to the time and hit L2. ET Time is what you need
