They fixed "emotes" before they gave us something as trivial as a way to sort our inventory and retainers? Why am I NOT surprised.....

You do realize sorting is one of the most complex areas of programming right? It may seem simple to the end user, but, it depends on their system and how everything is ordered. I'm not saying it shouldn't be done, but, this is a very simple patch and implementing a new system takes more time than a week normally to go from development, to Q/C, to compliance testing.

Without knowing the actual changes and the context for the changes, I'll give SE the benefit of the doubt.

JP had a problem with the /check text on XI. In a society with little physical space, what is left of personal space is iportant. JP viewed being 'inspected' violated that.

The next patch will include 3-new hairstyle options, and improved Moogle graphics.

In SE wisdom/user friendliness, to use any of the hairstyles would require deleting all your characters and restarting fresh from the beginning.
Seriously?

SE acctually has someone working on emote texts right now? Because people aren't getting their point across when emoting? Are emotes somehow an intrigal part of the game that people are under-utilizing? Reminds me of the Saturday Night Live skit with Christopher Walken, "more cowbell".
Hilarious

Yeah I agree. No sorting AT ALL not even manual sorting was a shocker when i first noticed that. It's so bad it's laughable. It's like we're paying for beta at this point. Really lame SE, really lame. :P

On the positive side the new job system is sweet... small consolation but I like it. :)
Really?

1st little patch and it addresses very localized things? Should have seen this coming.. We need a patch that addresses all the annoyances everyone's been complaining about.. Sort option, search for market wards, a chat box like ffxi's and some reduction in the ever popular UI lag..
