Male/Female Versions of All Warlock Demons Planned

Community Manager Zarhym just made an interesting announcement regarding warlock demons on the official World of Warcraft forums:

"I'm happy to share we actually do have plans for offering players a choice between male and female versions of all warlock demons. This is a task already in our system, though I don't have a time frame for you at the moment. Other art tasks could always take precedence, but we're committed to making this happen."

In response to a a player's comment that warlocks need other changes before cosmetic ones are implemented, Zarhym emphasized that there's no set time frame and it's "just something our artists are excited about doing." He also reminded players that artists aren't the ones balancing classes.

So, will you be choosing a female Void Walker? A male Succubus/Incubus? Discuss this topic with other ZAM users in our WoW general forum.

I've seen a lot more people ask for multi gender demons than an appearance tab. I'm glad blizz has their priorities in order

Really? You're gonna take this announcement and make it into an opportunity to reassure everyone (though I suspect on some level it's primarily you who needs reassurance) of your heterosexuality. Well here comes something that might surprise you.... No one gives a **** who or what you do outside the game....as long as you know what to do in a 10 or 25 man, and you do it well, then what you're doing or most likely not doing once you log off has no bearing whatsoever on anything related to World of Warcraft. This announcement was about offering an option to warlocks regarding the sex of their choosing, and had absolutely nothing to do with the sex you are choosing...so try to grow up and realize that most people who also read this article, didn't giggle and get a half woody. Nor did they conceptualize it as a gay or straight, male or female issue. They saw it for what it was. An option where before one didn't exist. So if at all possible try and Grow Up before your next post.

Although I agree with this statement that we needed some changes to the mundane appearances we have for our combat pets..but lets be fair. I want a female guardian of ancient kings too Blizz..I mean I'm a guy..I am heterosexual..I and the rest of my like-minded peer group dominate the market..if you adhere to the females and homosexual base like this, then I want the majority to be heard! (Nothing wrong with the minorities having their opinions heard..or put into a flaming suggestion box ;D j/k)

Ok my sarcasm put aside, now my girlfriend will be eager to make a warlock and have a new 'pet' thank you Blizz..I have more polygon pixels to compete with!

Still..imagine..a female Fel Guard...*ponders*

I don't think sexual orientation was in any way shape or form the driving thought behind this change... I'm going to guess... really far fetched I know... but that it has to do with... please a drum roll... cosmetics. ta da!
