Illusion (Status Effect)

Analysis

Your true appearance is veiled with an illusion. The illusion cannot be maintained for long periods of time.

The character receives a costume and is afflicted with a 22HP/tick DoT.
Whilst affected, the character will not be attacked by sight or true sight aggressive mobs.
Movement speed is slightly decreased whilst affected by Illusion.
Unlike Costume, Illusion does not activate the movement speed increase on Pitchfork +1.

How to remove the effect

  • This effect can be removed manually.
  • Dying from the DoT effect, morbidly, also removes the effect.

The DoT portion of the effect can be mitigated by Stoneskin.
Whilst not removing the effect entirely, it does allow for a character to use the Illusion for a longer period of time.

How the effect is gained

* Clicking on jars of Viscous Liquid in Mamook, and then selecting the option "Choose to try some".
