This freaking sucks. Apparently the tortilla HQ was changed to make Bueno Tortillas - and at cooking 94 I got 3/3 HQ for 21 Bueno Tortillas -- and they won't work in the recipe!! What the heck good are these stupid HQ tortillas if you can't use them to make tacos and GP items like this one? Guess I'll have to buy all my tortillas when I start making Tav Tacos.

If you are high cooking; don't waste your time making the tortillas, just buy them.

So if you're going to cap the points, assuming no failures and no HQ synths you need 10 sets of ingredients. If you make all of them you will need:

Auction House:
13 Fire Crystals
10 Water Crystals
3 Dark Crystals

Zulkheim Vendor:
10 Giant Sheep Meat
10 La Theine Cabbages*
3 Selbina Milk
3 San d'Orian Flour*

Kazham/Lower Elshimo Vendor:
10 Kazham Peppers
40 Mithran Tomatoes

Vollbow Vendor:
16 Rock Salts*

Aragoneu Vendor:
3 Millioncorns*

Derfland Vendor:
3 Olive Oils*

* - These items are available at Raimbroy's Grocery in Southern San d'Oria. Availability is dependent on what place San d'Oria is in and your own national allegiance. (when I wrote this San d'Oria was in second and I was able to get all of these except for the Millioncorns - which I believe require San d'Oria to be in first place and you have to be San d'Orian)

You will end up with 10 Mutton Tortillas, 2 Stone Cheese, and 2 Tortillas.

Here is a little analysis I did when I was trying to make these for Guild Points. Note that the prices are from a Regional Vendors Guide (that I take no credit on) on this link =

Mutton Tortilla – Yield: 1 - 405 Guild Points (HQ: 587 GPs)

1.Crystal: Fire – [200gil (based on Odin Server last I checked)] Good farming place: Orcs in Ghelshba Outpost
2. Giant Sheep Meat x1 – (46gil) Zulkheim Regional Vendor
3. Kazham Pepper x1 – (58gil) Lower Elshimo Regional Vendor
4. La Theine Cabbage x1 – (23gil) Zulkheim Regional Vendor
5. Mithran Tomato x1 – (38gil) Lower Elshimo Regional Vendor
6. Stone Cheese x1 – Yield: 4
6a. Dark – [250gil (based on Odin Server last I checked)] Good farming place: Toadstools in Ghelshba Outpost
6b. Rock Salt x1 – (15gil) Volbow Regional Vendor
6c. Selbina Milk x1 – (58gil) Zulkheim Regional Vendor
7. Tomato Juice x1 – Yield: 1
7a. Water – [50gil (based on Odin Server last I checked)] Good farming place: Low level crabs in East Sartabatu and South Gusterberg
7b. Mithran Tomato x3 (already mentioned)
7c. Rock Salt x1 (already mentioned)
8. Tortilla x1 – Yield: 4
8a. Fire (already mentioned)
8b. Millioncorn x1 – (47gil) Aragonue Regional Vendor
8c. Olive Oil x1 – (15gil) Derfland Regional Vendor
8d. Rock Salt x1 (already mentioned)
8e. San d'Orian Flour x1 – (58gil) Zulkheim Regional Vendor or Southern San d’Oria Vendor (G-9 Corua)

Based on the prices on my server and the Regional Vendor Guide, the total cost per synthesis will be 709gil. This will save you the most gil, although, it will take up the most time. I hope this will help you. Good luck on Chef's Hat and Chef's Apron! ^-^b

Guild Points...

Okay, these are probably the WORST item you can get for GP gain. They are only worth 405 guild points each. The NPC sells them for 5280g if you have MAX'd 9 Fame in Windy. The ingredients are SO stupid ridiculous to track down/make/buy that it's just plan sad. Combine that with the MASSIVE amount of inventory space it takes to do the synths to build up to this synth it's almost better to just blow off the 3680 or whatever GP gain you can make the day this comes up.

I have no idea what squenix was thinking on this one.

That is a lot of running around for GP items, but it looks like it's fairly cheap to make. I just did all this calc based on the prices on Fenrir.

167 - Fire Crystal
100 - Giant Sheep Meat (Never bought these, guess, but I know it's not more than 100 per)
75 - Kazham Pepper
22 - La Theine Cabbage
38 - Mithran Tomato
174 - Tomato Juice
100 - Stone Cheese
73 - Tortillia

Adds up to 749 per synth. Not bad, the bad part is gathering the supplies to actually do this. Also make sure you can get the items you need from the regional vendor. And make your own supplies (Juice, Tortillia, Stone Cheese) unless the prices for those are less than it would cose to synth.

[edit] laying out items in the same order as listed on the site.

[edit] HQ is worth 587. And these items are both Stackable.
