How can I quit/exchange local levequests?Follow

So I have 8 local levequests right now and I want to quit a couple (alchemy/culinary) and pick up different ones (weaving).

I try to pick a new one from the NPC that gives out levequests, but all I get is the message "You cannot be issued any more local levequests at this time."

I can't abandon them in the Journal, either. So what the ****?

You can only ACCEPT 8 in the given time period. You will have to wait until they issue new leves before you can get anymore, even if you did cancel them.

I know I can only accept 8 at a time... I want to exchange some of the ones I've already accepted for other ones that are available. There is no way to cancel them, as far as I can tell.

With *regional* levequests, you can exchange them at the NPC who issues them. It appears that is not the case with local levequests. Unless someone knows some secret handshake or something....

Edit: And by the way, I accepted these locals yesterday. Since then, the levequest timer has reset. I know this because I got new regional levequests. But I still can't exchange my old local levequests for new ones and I can't cancel them either.

I'm not 100% sure but I don't think when they say Exchange that they mean it the way you think they do. The Exchange system is something about turning in completed leve quests to up the reward (And possibly difficulty?).

You can exchange regional levequests that you haven't completed for other regional levequests. OR you can exchange completed regional levequests for new regional levequests and you'll get greater rewards.

Let me make this clear: I'M TALKING ABOUT LOCAL LEVEQUESTS! The crafting ones. I have a bunch of them that I DO NOT WANT ANYMORE. And I have no way to get rid of them and get new ones, even after the whole server resets.

I don't remember ever being able to quit the local levequests on the OB, but I never accepted any levequests I didn't want in the first place. The only solution I can think of is to fail them on purpose, or just do what you can with them. You still get Physical Level EXP if you complete them, so not a complete waste. Of course that costs whatever it does to buy the items to use those particular jobs.

It's kind of crappy you can't just quit a leve (or at least the option is clear) even if it counted against your total until reset. I did a few of them that were for camps that I had no idea how to find. So they sat there, completed and in my journal, taking up space.

Wow if this is the only way to "quit" a local levequest, it's horribly horribly broken. So I have to run all over town looking for the NPC that sells the tool that lets me be an alchemist or chef or whatever, I have to then spend 10 minutes of my time actually doing the levequest, and that's the only way I can get it out of my levequest list? The whole reason I want to quit the quest or exchange the quest is because I don't want to do it!

I failed one local leve but it never disappears.

Don't try to get rid of local leve by failing.

Or maybe someone can teach me how to get rid of failed leve.
