You don't.

You /sh in cities or camps and make your own PT. If they aren't dumb, add them to your FL and hit them up in the future.

There is party search functionality in the game (according to the lodestone), its just no-one knows how to do it.

If you read The Lodestone - it says that there are options through the party tab to list yourself as looking for a party, or list that you are looking for a particular party member.

I posted detailed instructions on these forums a few days ago but it seems to have vanished.

Recruiting Party Members
It is possible to recruit adventurers whose skills and objectives are compatible with your own to join your party.

1. From the main menu, select Party and then Recruit.

2. Set your recruitment details and conditions including purpose, location, and class.

Seeking a Party

Individual players can also perform a search for a party that suits their needs and objectives.

1. From the main menu, select Party and then Search.

2. Review the recruitment details and conditions of parties currently recruiting members and select the one you wish to join.

I havent actually tried this but have read in lots of places that there is no way to search for party members with specific skills etc. Unless i am misunderstanding the text here (provided copied from The Lodestone). THis appears to provide a reasonable tool to list yourself as looking for a party - and then to look through those currently listing to find additional party members.

Sorry - I am nowhere near my computer to try this out but has anyone else had joy with it?

Copy of my earlier thread!

an active group can set the group as LFM (looking for members) however there is no LFP. you have to stop what your doing and do a search of active groups that are LFM.
