About the Name:

The term Fedaykin was originally a word used to describe the Fremen's Guerilla Fighters in the Science Fiction Classis "Dune". If you haven't done so yet, please read this book...its Great!

About Fedaykin

I am a veteran Final Fantasy XI players who has recently ended his FFXI career. I played for approx 7 years steadily and am now moving on to FFXIV.

The goal of this LS is to progress though all aspects of the game while having a bit of fun at the same time. The plan if for this shell to remain active, engaging in LS events at least 4-5 times a week. This will NOT be a Hard Core LS, the atmosphere will be a little more laid back, friendly, and fun. As more and more game content is released, we will progress and LS activities will be planned accordingly (i.e.. Endgame, Notorious Monsters...)

Our focus is on active players who want to progress and enjoy all aspects of the game. While this is the focus, members are not required to attend events..they may join for the Social aspect or just ask for help. It a divinde between Social and Event members emerges, Internal LS's can be created.

What are we looking for in a member? Anyone who wants to have a fun time playing FFXIV! Althouth, the more effort you put into the linkshell the more rewards you will see. I or other LS officer will log LS event attendence and help with be provided to those members who help others first.
Some examples of Linkshell events such as: Missions, Quests, NM's, member help requiests for certain items and progressions that require a bit more of a hands on approach.

Scheduling and Events

Fedaykin Linkshell strives to schedule events that are convienient to all members. Although this will not always be possible, we will try our best. I am based in time EST time Zone and many events will be based on this zone. There is always room for expansion of LS sponsered events if enough members are from other time zones.

We will strive to have a variety of events that cater to all groups. Some of these events include Main Storyline and City-State Missions, item farming, crafting, explorations and NM's.

During the week we would like smaller events to take place such as guildleves which can be accomplished individually or in party like setups.

Here at Fedaykin Linkshell we want everyone to feel at home, so if you are looking for a Linkshell to call home, Fedaykin is the place for you!
