Does anyone have a strategy for this guy yet besides using higher rank jobs?

Which one? There are 3 of them (that I know of so far).

I don't really think he requires much of a strategy..

We originally went in yesterday as R25 MRD, R25 PUG, R25 CON and R27 ARC. We basically took out the smaller mobs first then focused our attacks on the boss.
By the time he had summoned tons more monsters we literally had the boss down to 10%, if we hadn't made a few silly mistakes he would definitely have been down.

Maybe I'm wrong but I wouldn't recommend taking your focus away from the boss later in the fight, definitely a downfall.

It's pretty straightforward; just focus on killing the main guy, since all the others die when it does. I've never had a problem with it, even without higher levels in the group.

I don't recommend kiting the little guys, I'll say that much for them. We've had good success by focusing on the big guy, and catching the little ones up in aoes, keeping the healer free to do their thing. This is, of course, for the one big guy, bunch of little guys type of boss. :D

The Diremite boss, Saragas was it?, requires a bit of strategy depending on the classes you have.
Abilities like War Drum and Warmonger (if you have access to them) should make things alot easier for the healer. Also get your DoW to equip healing abilities and spells to help out your healer.
Depending on your ranks, classes and strategy, Sleep, Slow, Paralyze and Bio would help too.
Keeping Protect and Shock Spikes up should be a no-brainer.

The main problem are the spawning mitelings. If you focus on the boss and fail to get him down the mitelings will not despawn, so you'll have to face even more of them.

As some already said, your best bet is to get the mobs together and use AoEs to attack the boss and the mitelings at the same time and use skills like War Drum and Warmonger to keep your DoM alive.
Another approach would be to sleep the mitelings while you focus on the boss if someone has access to that spell.
Or you split your group and have someone take on the mitelings while the others attack the boss.

It's pretty straightforward fight, which isn't a bad thing because this is supposed to be lowest rank dungeon/introductory. Though I thought it would have been cool to have a unique model for the Diremite boss, like Darkhold.

No comment on the other two bosses in this Raid?

I fought Sargas and the next time we fought a different boss and I think their might be a 3rd. Shaula was different and in my opinion stronger than Sargas. If you kill the mitelings in her fight they spawn Diremite Widows or something which are even stronger than the mitelings. Even at higher ranks she was difficult.

One strategy we did with Sargas Was to had Tank run in and try to build hate on boss and surrounding mobs as quickly as possible. IF the healer pulled hate from the smaller mobs, then they would semi- kite them away, using cure II to restore their health, and Curaga II to heal up the party. They should be able to survive long enough to finish off the boss, if not, have DD go all out when healer drops.
Did this last night as the sacrificial conjurer, lol.

Again, not the best strategy but it worked.

Yeah there are 3 bosses, one at each giant circle endpath. There were rumors on the official forums of a secret boss, but I dunno if thats true or not. But yeah, you definitely need some sort of group voke and aoe management for these fights.

There are two: Sargas and Shaula. Middle and bottom rooms both have Sargas; Shaula on top room, the supposedly "secret".

I think there's one called Antares, or something similar. I've fought him in the southern room. At this point though, I just clear all the barriers and fight Shaula, who gives me 4 chests for the effort. I feel like these 4 chest give more rare loot, but my sample size is pretty small. I'm definitely willing to go on more runs to confirm or deny this!

Antares (if that's true) is the same as Sargas, same model, same fight. Only Shaula is slightly different: It's a purple Diremite, and late in the fight it spawn Widow's Suitors instead of Mitleling. I've fought all three rooms.
