Hey guys., over the weekend I managed to get 50 fisher and I'm loving it, it's a nice break from combat and at the moment I'm in the process of doing the achievements for the Rod of the Luminary? But I have a few questions that I would like to ask that I hope you guys can answer for me;
1) I'm looking to make money now that I'm 50 fisher, does anyone know any good techniques? I was told to get red coral (they sell for 400-500 each on my server, hq is 800-900 each) but I can't seem to find them, I did google it but I get all the other fishes except red coral (except on a rare occasion I get one!)
2) Rod of the Luminary seems to have the same stats as the halcyon rod.. Is this correct or does the luminary rod have some kind of hidden effect?
3) I was searching through baits to use to catch fish, people told me to use krill feeders for the best catches but on vendors they are 480 each!! That's expensive for a bait (consumable lure), anyone know where to get these cheaper? They don't seem to be selling on Markets (I did manage to get 1 stack of 99 though)
I hope you guys can help, if you do have any advice please fire it my way, I don't mind how long this will take as I'm in it for the long run (luminary achievement), just want to make money in te process if possible!

1) There's no specific way to target "items" you fish up. You have lures for fish, but for things that dont actively bite your lure, they just happen occasionally. I dont think the lure even matters. Best case, use a lure that no other fish in that spot is going after?
2) That is the same with all the unlocked achievement gear. While the stats are exactly the same and there's no functional diffirence, they do have a LOT cooler models. But that is it really. If you want to put in all that effort for an unique model, go right ahead. Many people are going to tell you not to bother though.
3) They cant be made as far as i know, there's one obtained from the Lv.45 fishing quest, but that's it. 480 gil for each one from a vendor is pretty reasonably priced if you compare it to other things on other jobs at that level. I suppose it's an incentive from SE to put your catches with it on the market place for more than 480 gil. That all said, it was a lure in 1.0 and not consumable bait. So it's possible it's just a mistake from SE.
